Australian Partner Visas
Australian Partner Visas let the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible NZ citizen live and work in Australia.
What are Australian Partner Visas?
An Australian Partner Visa allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live, work, and study in Australia.
The visa is granted in two stages: first a temporary visa (Subclass 820/309) that lets you stay in Australia while your application is processed, followed by a permanent visa (Subclass 801/100) that provides indefinite residency.
To qualify, you must be in a genuine relationship, be sponsored by your partner, and meet health and character requirements.
